Mission Statement

The Recreation Foundation of Elmore County, Inc., mission is to promote the construction and operation of the year-round family recreation and community activities facility to be located in Mountain Home, Idaho, by raising funds from individuals, corporations and foundations interested in supporting the same. Its purpose is to enhance the health, well-being and quality of life for all Greater Mountain Home individuals and families.

Foundation Information

Due to the generosity of the founders of "Slide Into the Future", we now have our first fund raiser underway!

We are taking $50.00 donations or larger for the "Catch the Freedom" tapestry shown to the right. Businesses presently taking donations, commission-free, for the tapestries are:

• Footnotes Bookstore
• Mulberry Place
• Sav-Mor Drug
• WECRD Office

All proceeds go to the Foundation.  WECRD thanks these business for their support!  Give a gift that gives back to the community.

How can you help

To make the Mountain Home Community Complex Center (MHCCC) a reality, we need your help in raising the funds to build it.  There are things you can do to help.

• Purchase a Tapestry at any of the above locations
• Start a personal endowment fund, give monthly directly to this Foundation
• Spread the word, tell everyone you know about the Mission of the WECRD (Western Elmore County Recreation District) and RFECI (Recreation Foundation of Elmore County, Inc.)
• If you know of a Grant that will apply for our Foundation, let us know
